Waleed Al-Ahmad RSW16867
Waleed Al-Ahmad is a dedicated Registered Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in family, couple, and individual therapy. He holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Couple and Family Therapy from McGill University, along with specialized certifications in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Indigenous Cultural Safety.
Throughout his career, Waleed has worked with diverse populations, including Indigenous communities, Arabic-speaking immigrants, LGBTQ refugees, and families involved with child welfare. Vicki Bright Registered Social Worker (#15221)/Registered Clinical Counsellor (# 23843)
Vicki is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Registered Social Worker (RSW) with over 20 years direct client experience. A strength- based, solution- focused counsellor, her approach is nonjudgmental and intersectional, using a whole person lens to create a safe space for clients to engage.
Her professional training and experience in both Canada and Australia include working in both clinical and community environments in addictions and recovery, complex trauma, gender-based violence, Indigenous communities, mental and chronic illness. Vicki’s early work, including her MSW thesis, was immersed in the HIV/AIDS community, with women in the survival sex trade primarily in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Vicki’s special clinical interests include complex trauma, gender and intimate partner violence and intergenerational trauma where she spends most her professional time supporting clients in this realm.
Formally educated at The University of Victoria (BSW) and The University of British Columbia (MSW) Vicki continues to study and apply Non-Violent Communication in her work and has been trained as an End-of-Life Doula. Jamie Gazlay BCCSW Reg 14236
Jamie is a Registered Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals who are navigating a range of mental health, behavioural, and developmental challenges through a neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed lens. A significant part of her work has involved supporting parents and caregivers to better understand developmental needs, strengthen connection, and reduce conflict.
She is registered and in good standing with both the BC College and the Alberta College of Social Workers, and holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Waterloo. Her background includes community mental health, child and youth mental health, clinical counselling, and family systems work. Her clinical approach is flexible and eclectic and she work closely with her clients to ensure the work together continues to align with their current needs and future goals.

Ms. Elizabeth Perdok-Waboose Registered Clinical Counsellor (# 13570)
Elizabeth Perdok-Waboose is a dedicated mental health and addictions support professional with over 25 years of experience working alongside First Nation communities. A member of the Netmizaaggamig Nishnaabeg First Nation, Elizabeth brings a rich cultural perspective to her therapeutic practice. Her work is registered with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and includes specialized support for individuals and families impacted by Residential Schools.
Elizabeth has collaborated widely across British Columbia and Canada, including with The Legacy of Hope Foundation on Pre-Truth and Reconciliation initiatives, as well as through participation in community gatherings. Her clinical focus centers on addiction, trauma, and intergenerational and historical complex trauma. She holds certifications in Indigenous Focusing Oriented Therapy (IFOT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
